Caring Schools: Working with the Whole Child

In our schools, we note that many kids are making poor choices and generally dropping off the pathways to success. Many kids who could be helped with early identification and intervention programs are moved instead into our criminal justice system which all too often punishes and imprisons our kids - and, in the process, creates life long losers.
We need a plan educating the whole child.

In the past you've heard Jim Kern express his beliefs that people - especially kids - are priceless and precious, that differences can be treated as gifts not liabilities, that life involves change which brings stress to many and that our feelings are important.
